Luebo, Belgian Congo, March 15, 1926
Dear Folks:
The mail came in yesterday afternoon, and ordinarily we have till the day after, that is the second day after the mail comes, to get our letters ready, but this time we are to get our letters over this afternoon.
We are sending you a bunch of negatives, 12 in all, of Max. Will you please have these printed, sending us a copy of each. Dorothy is no doubt writing you about them, but I want to send some to my friends and kin. Please send one copy each of about four of the best ones to Ida, and also to Mr. and Mrs. T. J. C. Park, 70 Branch Ave. , Red Bank, New Jersey. Also 2 of the best to Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Fleming, Jr., 757 Mulberry St., Macon Ga.; that is two different pictures. Of course, all of these are not good, but some of them are real good, and others are not so bad. Be sure that you do not send any of the worst to these folks; one especially where Max has his eyes shut and looks like he is blind.
On April 24th we are to have our annual Meeting of the Ad-Interim Committee of the Mission, which is to be held at Mutoto this year; I have been elected as one of the Luebo delegates. Dorothy and Max are to eat at Rowena's while I am gone.
Our pigeons are doing right well. We have one nest of squabs, and eight more nests with eggs.
Haven't time to write a real letter, so will say goodbye for this time.
With love to all.
B. M.
